COVERT SURVEILLANCE
1. Introduction
Dion International Ltd provides professional covert surveillance services to support lawful investigations. These Terms govern all covert surveillance services and must be read alongside our Terms of Business, Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy.
2. Service Scope
Surveillance services are conducted strictly within the scope agreed in writing and confirmed within the client’s Letter of Engagement. We do not provide live operational updates, services intended to harass, intimidate or stalk individuals, or activities that breach any law.
3. Deployment & Resources
Mobile surveillance generally requires multiple operatives to maintain discretion and subject control. Single operative deployments may only be used for static assignments where appropriate. Deployment numbers are determined by operational risk assessments.
4. Evidence & Reporting
Photographic and video evidence will be obtained where safe, lawful and operationally appropriate. A written report will be provided upon completion of operations. Evidence capture is not guaranteed.
5. Legal Compliance
All services are conducted in compliance with UK and Scottish law. We will not undertake operations that may breach human rights, cause fear or distress or violate bail conditions or restraining orders. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services where legal risk exists.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients must disclose any information relevant to the operation, including previous surveillance attempts, existing legal restrictions, prior interactions with the subject and any factors that may compromise discretion. Failure to disclose material information may invalidate findings.
7. Fees & Payments
Fees are charged per operative with a minimum deployment of six hours. Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing. Expenses are charged at cost. Extensions are billed on a pro-rata basis.
8. Cancellations
Cancellations are governed by our Cancellation Policy available on our website.
9. Technical Equipment
Where tracking or camera equipment is deployed, the client accepts responsibility for loss, damage or misuse. Indemnity values are as follows: Tracking devices – £1,000 + VAT. Camera devices – £5,000 + VAT.
10. No Guarantee
Dion International Ltd makes no guarantees regarding outcomes, evidence obtained or admissibility of findings.
11. Confidentiality
All investigations are treated as strictly confidential. Information is disclosed only to authorised parties as instructed by the client or required by law.
12. Data Protection
We comply fully with GDPR and all applicable data protection laws. Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Intellectual Property
All reports, images and video remain the property of Dion International Ltd until full payment is received.
14. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the total fees paid for the service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
15. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
17. Acceptance
By making payment, the client confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
